Tanner Dining Chair in Flaxen and Camel Tan

The dining chair that does half the hosting

Six o’clock, the table is filling up, and the chairs are doing half the hosting. The Tanner understands the assignment. Its Camel Tan upholstery – a rich, warm tan with real depth – wraps the seat and back, while solid wood legs in Flaxen, a pale honeyed wood tone, lift the whole chair into something lighter than its comfort suggests. This is the two-tone trick at its best: dark enough up top to feel substantial, light enough below to keep the room breathing. Modus Furniture gave the Tanner clean modern lines and an ergonomic profile, so it reads current without chasing trends.

Two tones, one warm room

Single-finish chairs ask the room to do the decorating; the Tanner brings its own contrast. The Camel Tan upholstery and Flaxen legs are a studied pairing – warm against warm, but different enough in depth that the chair has visible dimension from across the room. Around a wood table, the Flaxen legs pick up the table’s undertones while the tan seats echo leather or woven accents elsewhere in the space. It is a chair that makes a set of four look intentional rather than matched, which is exactly what modern dining rooms want. Built for the long table and the long evening

Gathering is the Tanner’s natural habitat. The ergonomic profile – seat and back shaped to support relaxed posture – means guests stay comfortable through the second bottle of wine, and the clean-lined silhouette keeps six or eight chairs from visually crowding the table. At 20 inches wide it is a true standard fit, lining up neatly three-to-a-side on most rectangular tables. If you are furnishing for holidays and dinner parties rather than just weeknights, this is the chair that earns its place. Pair it with a statement table from our dining tables collection, or build the full setup from our dining sets.
