Buy Furniture with Afterpay
Afterpay lets you buy furniture now and pay over time by splitting your purchase into smaller, scheduled payments. When selected at checkout, Afterpay shows your payment schedule upfront so you know exactly what to expect before placing your order.
This option works well for shoppers who prefer short-term, interest-free payment plans and a fast checkout experience.
Why Use Afterpay for Furniture
• Split your purchase into interest-free installments
• Clear payment schedule shown before checkout
• No long-term financing commitment
• Simple account management through Afterpay
Afterpay is a popular buy-now-pay-later service that lets you get your furniture now and pay it off in four equal installments over six weeks, with no added interest as long as you pay on time. You simply select Afterpay at checkout – you’ll pay about 25% of the purchase upfront, and the remaining three interest-free payments are automatically charged to your card every two weeks.
Your Afterpay payments are split into four installments. The first payment (approximately 25% of your order) is taken at checkout, and the remaining three installments are automatically charged to your debit or credit card every two weeks. This schedule means you’ll finish paying off your furniture purchase about six weeks from the date of purchase.
Afterpay does not require a hard credit check. When you sign up, they only perform a soft inquiry (which won’t affect your credit score), and they don’t report your on-time or missed payments to the credit bureaus. In other words, using Afterpay’s Pay-in-4 plan won’t impact your credit rating.
Yes. If you miss an installment, Afterpay may charge a late fee – but it’s capped to be customer-friendly. Late fees will never exceed 25% of your order total (up to $68), so you won’t rack up huge penalties. (Keep in mind that your Afterpay account may also be paused until overdue payments are caught up.)
You can manage your Afterpay payments by logging into your Afterpay account on the mobile app or website. There, you can see your payment schedule, pay installments early if you want, or simply let Afterpay charge your card automatically on each due date. All your Afterpay orders and payment dates are organized in your Afterpay account for easy tracking.
To use Afterpay, you must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States (50 states or D.C.). You’ll also need a valid U.S. debit or credit card (or bank account) for payment, plus a verifiable email address, mobile phone number, and a U.S. delivery address. Afterpay is not offered for purchases made by residents of U.S. territories.
