The large Fomo end table takes the round top out to 22 inches across, and that diameter changes what the surface can do. A lamp, a book and a drink fit at once, with room left over, which is the combination a sofa end is actually used for. The filed description makes the same point in its own words: at 22 inches, the top has room for all three together. The table stands 20 inches high, a little lower than its smaller sibling, so the surface sits just under a typical sofa arm rather than level with it.

Under the top, crossed panels of the same plate glass form the base, and 19 inches of floor clearance leaves most of the height open. From across a room you see through the base to the floor and the wall, while the top carries the iridescent read. The table weighs 61 lb, the heaviest of the Fomo end tables, because both planes of glass grow with the larger format. Once placed, it behaves like a fixed part of the seating arrangement rather than a piece that gets pulled around.

The published capacity is 132 lb. That figure is worth stating plainly because glass tables are often assumed to be delicate; this one is built from heavy plate glass in both the horizontal and vertical planes, and its rating sits above the wood end tables in many living rooms. Placement needs 22 inches of clear floor in each direction and nothing more, since the round top has no corners to clear a walkway.

How the Larger Format Is Built Differently

The material is tempered glass with a metallic surface coating, and the coating is what produces the rainbow shimmer across the top. On a 22 inch surface that shimmer has more area to develop than on the smaller tables in the line, so the color shifts read across a wider field as you cross the room. Both the top and the base are heavy 3/8 inch plate glass, and the edges are machined with a safety bevel for smooth, durable surfaces. The base shape is filed as a subtle rounded rectangle, pairing with soft modern lines, and the top and base arrive with their connection already secured. The features table in the filing also lists this table as commercial grade.

Keeping the Iridescent Surface Clean

The filed care route is a soft cloth and glass cleaner, with abrasive pads and powders kept off the surface. The reason is the coating: the iridescent effect is a metallic layer on the glass, and an abrasive cleaner can mark the layer the color depends on. Used as directed, cleaning is a single wipe, and the clear non-marking glides filed for the base protect the floor the table stands on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Fomo large end table need assembly?

No. It arrives fully assembled in one box, at a shipping weight of 64 lb via Small Parcel, with a secure connection between the top and the base. Unpacking is the only step before placement.

How is the large Fomo end table different from the small one?

The filed dimensions separate them. This table is 22 inches across and 20 inches high, weighing 61 lb with a 132 lb capacity; the small version is 16 inches across and 22 inches high, weighing 46 lb with a 94 lb capacity. Both are round plate glass tops on cross bases.

What does the iridescent finish look like in a room?

The metallic surface coating produces a rainbow shimmer that varies according to light direction and viewing angle. The read is strongest where light crosses the top, and it shifts as you move, rather than holding one flat color.

What warranty covers the Fomo large end table?

Coverage is a 1 year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, running from the date of delivery. The country of origin is listed as Imported, as published in the filing.
