Yosemite Solid Wood Dresser in Cafe

Roughhewn solid pine storage in a dark Cafe finish

The Yosemite dresser recreates the improvised, utilitarian look of early 20th century factory furniture. Roughhewn planks carry the saw marks, dents, pits and random knots of the era, balanced by a Cafe finish — a dark gray with just enough opacity to show clearly defined wood grain under a low-sheen lacquer.

Inside, sanded and stained solid wood drawer boxes use front and rear English dovetail joinery for rigidity, ride on full extension ball bearing slides, and the top drawers are felt lined for valuables, with a dust cover under the bottom drawer. Hammered metal bar pulls add to the industrial appeal. In a rustic bedroom furniture scheme, the Yosemite dresser brings genuine solid wood weight and hand-forged character to everyday storage.

Best for farmhouse and industrial bedrooms: a 62-inch solid pine case with dovetail drawers and a finish that shows every saw mark.

Are the Yosemite dresser drawers felt lined?

The top drawers are felt lined for storing valuables. All drawers use sanded and stained solid wood boxes with English dovetail joinery and full extension ball bearing slides.

Can the dresser be used without legs?

Yes. The dresser can be used with or without its 3 3/8 inch legs; installing them is a simple five minute procedure.

What materials is the Yosemite dresser built from?

Fronts, tops and sides are solid pine. The drawer boxes, drawer bottoms, back panels and dust covers are hardwood plywood, and the hardware is zinc with a hammered, hand-forged look.
