Townsend 8-Drawer Solid Wood Dresser in Java

A solid wood dresser with a roughhewn, aged character

The Townsend 8-drawer dresser is crafted entirely from solid hardwood, with naturally roughhewn planks that carry heavy saw marks, pitting and wane. A nine-step finish in Java uses a dark glaze to highlight the grain and a light wash to simulate the patina of age.

Shallow top drawers are sized for delicate items, and the map drawer effect is repeated with faux parting rails on the large lower drawers, giving eight drawers a crafted, apothecary-style rhythm.

Every structural part is wood: solid frame, front, top and sides, hardwood plywood drawer boxes, and an engineered wood dust cover and back panel. The dresser stands on a 3-inch floor clearance and carries a 300 lb weight capacity.

Best for rustic and lodge-style dark bedrooms: the Townsend suits shoppers who want genuine solid wood, visible hand-worked texture and a tall eight-drawer layout in a dark finish.
