A 79 inch oval pedestal dining table that seats six comfortably

Dimensions 39″L x 79″W x 29″H
Seating 6
Top Oak veneer
Base Pedestal, oak veneer
Finishes Walnut, Oak

The Renwick oval pedestal dining table seats six comfortably along its 79 inch oval top. The pedestal base frees the full perimeter, so seating stays flexible at the ends as well as the sides – pull up six chairs for a weeknight dinner, or shift them along the curve when the table is dressed for a long holiday lunch. The oval shape delivers the presence of a large dining table without the hard corners of a rectangle, so walkways around it stay open.

Oak veneer top and pedestal base with a warm, visible grain

The top and base are finished in oak veneer with a warm, visible grain running the length of the oval. Veneer keeps that grain smooth and consistent across a top this size, and the pedestal base gives the table its sculptural, modern stance. It comes in the Walnut finish shown here or in Oak – same table, same 79 inch oval top, two very different moods for the room.

Dimensions and specifications

Overall dimensions are 39 inches long by 79 inches wide by 29 inches high. That long, comparatively narrow oval profile is the point: it fits narrower dining rooms better than a full rectangle of the same seating capacity, and the curved ends soften the footprint in open-plan spaces.

Pair it with dining chairs in a matching wood tone, or shop the wider dining tables collection and the rest of our dining room furniture to build the room around it.

Frequently asked questions about the Renwick 79 inch table

Does the Renwick 79 seat six at the ends too?

Yes. Because the pedestal base frees the full perimeter, chairs can sit at the ends as well as along the sides, which is how the oval comfortably seats six.

What finishes is the Renwick 79 available in?

Walnut and Oak, both in oak veneer with a warm, visible grain.

Is an oval table good for a narrow dining room?

At 39 inches deep against 79 inches wide, this oval profile fits narrower dining rooms better than a full rectangle, and the curved ends keep corners out of the walkway.
