Paden 94-Inch Black Acacia Oval Dining Table

The table as sculpture

The Paden doesn’t look assembled – it looks carved. Crescent-shaped solid black acacia legs curve beneath a sprawling 94-inch oval top, and the whole piece reads as one continuous gesture rather than parts bolted together. Aged Black is the right finish for the drama: it deepens the acacia’s natural grain into something almost topographical, catching light along the curves. This is a dining table that anchors a room the way a sculpture does.

Why oval beats rectangle for hosting

Rectangles have head-of-table hierarchy and corner elbows. Ovals have neither – and that’s the point. With no corners to bump and sightlines that flow all the way around, a 94-inch oval seats 8 to 10 with better conversation than any rectangle its size. The double-pedestal base keeps legroom open along both sides, so nobody’s negotiating with a table leg. Leg levelers and protective feet are included, because a table this considered shouldn’t wobble on imperfect floors.

Best for

Best for dining rooms where the table is the statement – the sculptural base means it holds its own without a chandelier doing the work. Aged black acacia takes brass, leather, and warm whites beautifully. For lighter moods, browse our dining tables; the solid wood dining tables include quieter profiles in the same quality tier.

Frequently asked questions

Does black show dust?
Less than you’d think – the aged finish has grain variation and depth, not a flat black that shows everything. A quick wipe keeps it pristine.

How many does it really seat?
8 in comfort, 10 for the holidays. The oval shape and open pedestal base mean chairs slide in anywhere.

What’s the difference between the 94 and 118-inch?
Scale. The 94 suits most dining rooms; the 118 is for great rooms and dedicated dining spaces that can handle ten feet of table.

Is acacia durable for daily dining?
Yes – acacia is a dense hardwood, harder than oak, and the solid legs take daily knocks without complaint.
