The Nia acacia wood dining bench in Lioness is built like a piece of sculpture: a thick acacia top with softly rounded edges rests on two pedestals made of stacked, block-like segments. At 60 inches long it seats two to three along one side of a dining table, and the 18 inch seat height matches standard dining chairs, so it mixes cleanly with the Nia collection seating.

Acacia solid wood and acacia veneer carry the Lioness finish, a warm, light honey tone that lets the wood grain show through. The acacia shows long, streaky grain lines and natural color variation from board to board, so the top reads as one continuous run of timber rather than a printed pattern. The stacked block bases carry most of the bench 84 lb, which keeps it planted when guests slide in and out.

The bench holds up to 400 lb, evenly distributed. Beyond the dining room, the same 60 inch length works as entryway seating under a coat row or as a foot-of-bed bench, and the pedestal form keeps the floor underneath open, which makes the room read larger than a four-legged bench of the same size.

Stacked Block Pedestals in Warm Lioness Acacia

Each pedestal is a stack of block segments, an architectural detail that gives the bench its profile from across the room. The top is thick with rounded edges, so the seat is comfortable for a full meal and safe around children. The Lioness finish is sealed in NC lacquer, and the honey tone warms up both pale dining schemes and darker acacia tables from the same collection.

Assembly takes about 30 minutes in 5 steps, with the hardware packed in the same box as the seat and legs. The bench ships in one box at 88 lb by small parcel. For care, a soft cloth keeps the lacquered surface clean, and the solid bases need nothing more than level floor contact.

Running a Bench Along One Side of the Table

A bench on one side and chairs on the other is the flexible arrangement: the bench takes three at a family meal and slides fully under many tables when the room needs to open up. The 18 inch seat height keeps bench sitters at the same eye level as the chairs opposite, and the open pedestal base leaves room for feet.

Frequently asked questions about the Nia acacia wood dining bench

How much weight does the Nia dining bench hold?

Up to 400 lb, evenly distributed. The bench itself weighs 84 lb, most of it in the solid pedestal bases, so it stays planted when guests slide in and out.

How many people sit on the Nia bench?

Two to three along its 60 inch length. The 18 inch seat height matches standard dining chairs, so it mixes with chair seating at the same table.

How long does assembly take?

About 30 minutes in 5 steps, with the hardware packed in the same box as the seat and legs.

Run it along the nia 78 inch solid wood rectangular dining table in lioness brown for the matching top, and compare the other seats in the nia bench companions among the dining chairs at KF Rooms.
