Louis Philippe III Queen Storage Bed in Dark Gray

A bookcase headboard and seven drawers in one queen bed

The Louis Philippe III queen bed builds storage into both ends of the frame. The rectangular bookcase headboard carries five drawers — three hidden along the top and two in the center — flanked by two open compartments, while the low-profile footboard adds two more drawers, all in a traditional dark gray finish.

The drawers run on center metal glides with three-quarter extension, French dovetail backs and safety stops, and open with brushed nickel handles. Ten slats support the mattress directly, so no box spring is required.

Best for traditional bedrooms short on dresser space: seven drawers plus open headboard shelving keep clothing, linens and bedside essentials inside the bed frame itself.

Does the Louis Philippe III queen bed need a box spring?
