Elora Dining Bench in Jet Black

Arched slab legs in jet black ash, made to finish the Elora set

The Elora bench is the dining table’s other half: the same rounded rectangle silhouette and arched slab legs, scaled down to a 46-inch backless seat. Modus pairs clean modern lines with a jet black ash finish that shows the wood’s natural grain through the matte surface, so the bench reads sculptural from across the room and calm up close.

Why it works

A backless bench keeps sightlines open across the table and slides fully underneath when the meal is over, which is what makes it the flexible seat in the set: two can sit, three can squeeze, and nobody is committed to a chair back. The all-wood seat has no upholstery to stain, so it wipes clean after everyday dinners, and the solid mahogany in the build gives the slim profile its 400 lb tested capacity.

Best for

Elora dining table owners completing the set, and any 30-inch-high dining table that needs seating on the window side of the room. It also works as a low accent bench at the foot of a bed or under a window between meals.
