CEO 180 Degree Return Swivel Upholstered Dining Chair in Oyster

Finished in soft Oyster, this contemporary oyster upholstered dining chair pairs its 180-degree return swivel with an easy, neutral palette. The seat turns a full half-circle for graceful seating, then the self-returning mechanism settles it back to face the table, keeping everything looking tidy. Modus Furniture upholsters the seat and back in Oyster on a metal frame built for smooth daily swivel.

Oyster is the quietest of the CEO finishes, which makes it the most versatile: it cools warm-toned rooms, warms cool-toned ones, and sits beside any dining table from rustic wood to polished stone. The 22-inch seat and self-centering base mean the chair works hard functionally while staying visually calm, a rare combination in motion furniture.

The Tidy Chair: Always Facing the Table

Most swivel dining chairs end up scattered at angles after a meal. The CEO’s self-returning seat is the fix: stand up, and the chair glides back to center on its own. In Oyster, that tidiness reads even cleaner: the pale neutral keeps the whole table arrangement looking composed.

Best for

Best for calm, composed dining rooms. Oyster is the quietest CEO finish, cooling warm-toned rooms and warming cool ones, while the self-returning swivel keeps every chair facing the table without anyone tidying up. The 22-inch seat gives the mechanism a stable base and the sitter generous room. A Modus Furniture design where the engineering does the tidying.

Frequently asked questions

How does the self-returning mechanism work?
The seat turns a full 180 degrees for seating, then glides back to face the table on its own after you stand.

Is Oyster more grey or beige?
Oyster is a soft, pale neutral that shifts with the light, which is what makes it so versatile across room palettes.

Will it suit a rustic wood table?
Yes. Oyster sits comfortably beside rustic wood, polished stone, and everything between.
