Camilla Wave Bed in Chestnut

Chestnut drama, shaped like a wave

Choose chestnut when the bed should lead the room after dark. The vivid finish deepens the solid ash surround, so the stepped headboard reads almost sculptural against paler walls, and its inset tiers catch lamplight in soft shadow bands. Behind the upholstery, foam and fiber fill give the 50-inch headboard a cushioned face that holds up to nightly reading in bed.

Why it works

Dark wood tones can flatten a bedroom, but the wave profile prevents that here. Each step of the frame pulls the eye across the 73-inch width, while the chestnut grain keeps the large headboard feeling crafted rather than bulky. It is the Camilla colorway with the most presence, and the one that pairs most naturally with brass lighting, cream bedding and walnut casegoods.

Best for

Primary bedrooms that want a moody, hotel-like focal point, and art deco or transitional rooms where a rich wood tone, not pale upholstery, should set the temperature of the space.

Built to stay put at 149.5 pounds

The frame weight keeps the bed planted once it is placed, and slats arrive in the box so the mattress goes straight down with no box spring to buy. Browse more beds, or shop the wider bedroom collection to complete the room.
