Astor Arc Back Dining Chair in White Board and Claystone

An arched back gives the Astor, a modern white upholstered dining chair, its graceful stance. Modus Furniture sets the arc back in crisp White Board solid wood, then upholsters the seat and back in soft Claystone fabric for a light-and-neutral pairing that brightens dining rooms. The ergonomic profile keeps long meals comfortable.

What the arc back does for a room

• Back: arched silhouette, curved and enveloping
• Upholstery: Claystone, a soft neutral fabric
• Legs: solid wood in crisp White Board
• Comfort: ergonomic profile for long meals
• Dimensions: 20″W x 24″D x 36″H
• Collection: Astor by Modus Furniture

The curve does double duty: it softens the chair’s outline so a full set looks less blocky, and it gives the Astor a distinct silhouette from across the room while the Claystone upholstery keeps it calm up close. The light White Board and Claystone palette reflects daylight around the dining area. Shoppers comparing upholstered dining chairs in light neutrals often worry the look will feel bland; the arched back is the answer.

Best for

Best for bright dining rooms and households that linger over the table. The ergonomic curve suits long meals, and the light palette lifts the whole space.
