Elora Dining Chair in Jet

Elora dining chair in Jet – black, with intent

Some chairs fill a seat; the Elora makes a decision. Finished in Jet – a deep, saturated black – this solid wood dining chair brings a deliberate modern edge to the table. The silhouette is crisp and current, the contoured back keeping it comfortable enough for nightly use. At 20 inches wide, it lines up neatly in sets of four, six, or eight, and the dark frame does something light chairs cannot: it gives the whole dining arrangement a visual anchor.

Black is a design choice, not a default

Here is what Jet black does in a dining room: it grounds everything around it. Set the Elora against a light wood or white table and the contrast sharpens both pieces – the table looks brighter, the chairs look more sculptural. In an already-dark room, the chairs dissolve into a moody, cohesive whole. Either way, black dining chairs are doing active work in the space, not just filling seats. The Elora’s clean lines keep the look modern rather than heavy, so the drama never tips into gloom. Compare the effect with lighter options in our dining chairs collection.

Comfort keeps up with the looks

A dramatic chair still has to survive the school-night dinner, and the Elora’s contoured back is shaped for exactly that – relaxed, everyday seating that does not punish you for lingering. Solid wood construction keeps the frame rigid and dependable. The Jet finish pairs with wood, white, or upholstered companions, so you are not locked into an all-black room unless you want to be.
