Noeline Oak Extension Dining Table Seats 8

The host’s answer to the small-dining-room problem

Most extension tables make you choose: a sensible everyday size or a proper holiday table. The Noeline refuses the tradeoff. At 65 inches it’s a comfortable daily table for four; pull the leaves – two of them, stored inside the table itself – and it stretches to 105 inches to seat eight. No leaf closet, no leaning panels against the garage wall. Four lockable caster wheels mean one person can extend it without a second set of hands.

Extension without the wobble

The reason extension tables wobble is flex at the joint. The Noeline answers with a 305 lb build – solid oak, resawn oak veneer, and iron with brass accents – held rigid by mortise-and-tenon joinery. “Resawn” means the veneer is sliced from solid timber rather than rotary-peeled, so the grain reads like real planks, and the light worn finish softens the look without hiding the wood. At full 105-inch stretch, this table stays put.

Best for

Frequently asked questions

Where do the leaves go when not in use?
Inside the table. Both leaves self-store in the body of the Noeline – no separate storage needed.

Can one person really extend it?
Yes – that’s what the four lockable caster wheels are for. Roll, extend, lock.

What is resawn oak?
Veneer sliced from solid timber rather than peeled from a log. It shows genuine plank-like grain instead of the repetitive pattern of rotary-cut veneer.

Does it wobble at 105 inches?
No – the 305 lb build and mortise-and-tenon joinery keep the mechanism rigid at full extension.
