Maddox 60-Inch L-Shape Computer Desk in Black and Walnut
Oct
The Maddox refuses to choose between work and storage, so it takes both sides of the corner. This 60-inch L-shape executive desk from Coaster Furniture puts a black desktop and drawer on the task side for daily work, while the credenza side in walnut finish carries slatted doors, center drawers, and adjustable shelving for the files, supplies, and reference material that used to live in a closet. Scratch-resistant melamine surfaces keep the whole piece looking sharp through heavy daily use. The black-and-walnut contrast does the decorating: modern, deliberate, and far more interesting than a single-tone box.

Sixty inches square means the Maddox wants a genuine corner with five feet of wall in each direction and the chair rolling between the two runs. Put the black task side facing the room’s light source and the walnut credenza along the darker wall, and the storage stays within a swivel’s reach. The square footprint suits dedicated offices and finished basements better than tight spare bedrooms.

Melamine earns its place on an executive desk by shrugging off the scratches, coffee rings, and sliding binders that mark softer finishes. The slatted doors on the credenza side add texture and airflow for stored electronics, while the adjustable shelves adapt to legal binders or craft bins alike.
