Element Square Lounge Chair in Gray Polyester Blend

The Element lounge chair ignores the usual rule that a chair is seating for one. The seat is a single square cushion, tufted across the top, wide enough that two people can share the chair without negotiating for space. A loose back pillow rests behind the seat and lifts away, so the chair can sit deep for reading or shallower with the pillow pulled forward. The whole frame is a true square, 49 inches wide, 49 inches deep, and 31.5 inches high, which makes the chair read as a small piece of architecture in the room rather than an accessory.

Element Square Lounge Chair in Gray Polyester Blend

A square chair wants a corner or a window bay rather than a wall run: set the Element at an angle to the main sofa and the room gains a second seating zone without a second sofa. The armless sides keep the square outline clean from every viewing angle, and the low back, 31.5 inches at the top, stays under most window sills. Leave open floor on one side of the chair; a seat this wide invites a side table and a floor lamp more than it invites a matching pair. White Glove delivery suits a piece that ships mostly assembled, since the chair can be placed where it will live with the packaging taken away.

A Square Chair with Room for Two

Two-person capacity changes what a lounge chair is for: the Element works as a shared reading seat, a place for a child to sit alongside a parent, or a single sitter’s sprawl with cushions arranged to one side. The seat stays one undivided cushion rather than two pads, so there is no center seam dictating where each person belongs. Shoppers scanning living room lounge chairs for a corner that needs real seating will find the square footprint does the work of a small loveseat at a chair’s height. Financing at checkout can divide the chair’s cost into monthly payments, a common route when one piece completes a room that is already furnished.

Two Cushions and a Back Pillow That Lifts Away

The chair arrives with two cushions and the removable back pillow, the pillow edged with a thin flange that matches the back cushion’s detailing. Lifting the pillow free changes the seat depth in seconds, and the loose pieces make the gray polyester blend easier to air out and spot-clean than a fixed back. The Guardsman 5-Year Warranty is available on the chair for the marks and spills that get past routine care on the upholstery, and the rest of the maker’s seating sits under Classic Home chairs and sofas.
