Basil Electric Triple-Recliner Sofa in Slate Grey Fabric

Most reclining sofas ration the good seats: one or two chairs recline and the rest of the row sits upright. The Basil refuses that compromise by motorizing all three positions, each with a push-button control on the right side of the seat, so the middle viewer gets the same full recline as the ends. The frame is armless, which keeps the 123-inch width looking like one clean sweep of slate grey polyester instead of three chairs bolted together. Tight seat and back cushions hold their crisp lines because nothing on them needs to fold or shift.

A triple recliner needs wall clearance behind it and honesty about the doorway: the Basil asks for a 28-inch minimum door width on delivery day, and at full recline the frame reaches 65 inches deep, so the back should sit off the wall rather than against it. Centered on a media wall, the armless run leaves both ends open for side tables within reach of the outside seats. Because all three positions recline, the room works best when the coffee table stays light enough to slide when footrests come up. White Glove delivery earns its keep on a sofa this wide: the crew places the frame where it will live and takes the packaging away.

Three Motors, Three Independent Recliners

Each seat runs on its own motor and answers to its own button, so one viewer can sit bolt upright with a laptop while the next reclines to the full 65-inch depth. The tight cushions keep the row looking composed between uses, with no loose pillows to restack after a movie. Shoppers comparing electric reclining sofas will find few designs that motorize the middle seat rather than treating it as a passenger. Owners can enroll the Basil in the Guardsman 5-Year Warranty, which keeps professional help available for the upholstery through years of nightly reclining.

An Armless Frame in Copenhagen Slate Polyester

Without arms, the Basil’s ends finish flush, so the row can stand alone or sit between case pieces without armrests dictating the gaps. The upholstery is 100% polyester in Copenhagen Slate, a mid-dark grey that hides the visual wear of daily use better than pale fabrics, over a manufactured wood frame and short black plastic legs. The purchase can be split into monthly payments through financing at checkout, a common approach for a powered piece at this size.
