Afeela Bench-Seat Velvet Sofa in Fern Green

Ruching gathers the Afeela’s fern green velvet into soft horizontal pleats, a worked surface that flat upholstery never attempts. The fabric is a velvet-feel polyester laid over a parawood frame, cut as one long bench seat with attached cushions and a tight back. At 94 inches wide the sofa seats three without crowding, and beneath the bench, 8-way hand-tied construction carries the foam, feather, and fiber fill. Square arms close the outline at either end, and the sofa arrives fully assembled, so the pleats run unbroken from the first day it is placed.

Standing under 30 inches tall, the Afeela keeps a low line that slides under window sills and leaves wall art room to breathe above the back. Floated in an open plan, the tight back reads finished from behind, and the bench format gives a seating group one unbroken green field to arrange chairs and tables around. KFROOMS files the Afeela among its green velvet sofas, where its pleated surface stands apart from the smooth velvets around it.

Pleats and Ruching Over a Hand-Tied Bench Seat

The pleats are not decoration pasted onto a plain sofa; the ruching is worked into the upholstery itself, so light breaks across the fern green in folds instead of one flat sheen. Because the seat and back cushions are attached, those folds stay in register year after year rather than shifting with loose cushions. Underneath, the 8-way hand-tied construction ties the seat support in eight directions, the traditional bench build under the single bench cushion’s foam, feather, and fiber fill. Financing at checkout can divide the purchase into monthly payments for buyers completing a room around the sofa.

Foam, Feather, and Fiber in One Long Cushion

Three fill materials share the bench: foam for structure, feather for surface give, and fiber to hold the loft between them. Care stays simple, a spot clean with water-based upholstery cleaners when a mark appears. White Glove delivery brings the assembled sofa inside and sets it where it belongs, and pairing the order with a Guardsman 5-Year Warranty means a tipped wine glass or a pet’s muddy paws on the velvet are covered events, not emergencies. Furnishing the rest of the room to match starts with the wider Classic Home at KFROOMS range of wood and upholstered pieces.
