Harlin 97-Inch Cocoa Bench-Style Sofa

One cushion, zero arguments

The middle seat is where sofa fights happen – the gap, the sag, the subtle territory war. The Harlin eliminates it: one elongated bench cushion across 97 inches, no gaps, no divided loyalties. It’s the bench-style secret – a single seating surface that stretches, lounges, and seats three without the usual sectional negotiations. The low 28-inch profile keeps it loungey rather than formal.

Brass casters: the vintage detail that earns its keep

Turned solid oak legs in terra brown, tipped with brushed brass casters over iron – the kind of detail that made vintage sofas worth restoring. The casters aren’t just pretty: they make a 97-inch sofa movable for cleaning and rearranging, which matters more than it sounds. Above them: Surrey Cocoa performance upholstery (76.8% cotton, 23.2% polyester) with the velvet look and everyday durability, a knife-edge back, and boxed arms keeping the silhouette tailored. Mid-century modern with the vintage details left in.

Frequently asked questions

Does one long cushion sag?
The bench cushion is engineered as a single unit – no gaps to fall into and even support across the full 97 inches. Rotate it occasionally like any seat cushion.

What is Surrey Cocoa?
Four Hands’ velvety cocoa-brown performance fabric – the look of cotton velvet with a 76.8/23.2 cotton-poly blend built for daily use.

Do the brass casters roll?
They’re functional casters over iron – the sofa moves for cleaning and rearranging. Lock them or let them roll as you prefer.

Is 28 inches too low?
It’s lounge height – deliberate. The low profile suits relaxed sitting and pairs well with low coffee tables. If you prefer upright, look at our higher-back sofas.
